From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the land, comes a legend...the legend of Christopher Belmont, defender of Wallachia. A mighty Vampire Hunter, loved by good, feared by evil. As Belmont's legend grew, peace settled across the land. In Transylvania, an alliance was formed together with the good people of Wallachia...they maintained peace throughout the land, until a new horrible menace, Dracula, threatened their peace. Christopher Belmont was needed once more. This is the story of the hero of Wallachia, specially trained, and sent by the alliance to restore peace throughout the world.
